Welcome to our blog!

Family and Friends -

I have started this blog to keep you all up to date on the goings on of our little one. Although Facebook and Myspace have done wonders in keeping her sweet little face in your view, it has not abled you to encompass all of the sweetness that is Eliza Joan. Here I will attempt to supply you with as many facts, stories and pictures possible, so that you may delight in our little bug as much as we do.

This week Eliza turns 12 weeks old, although she is not officially 3 months old until next week. Eliza has many accomplishments to count this past month including; finding her hands, rolling over and blowing bubbles.

Eliza sticks her hands in her mouth at every opportunity and as of today, favoring her middle and ring finger together. However, she is not biased and will take a thumb, pinkie, fist or whichever combination she manages to get into her mouth.

Eliza accidentally rolled over for the first time when she was 7 weeks old and has rolled again at 10 weeks. We are still waiting for her to actually discover that she is in fact, in control of her body and able to roll herself over. I'm thinking she may discover this in the next month.

As for the blowing bubbles, this has become quite the drooly sport. We have decided if it is to continue, and we know it's only going to get worse before it gets better, we are going to have to buy stock in the bib market.
More to come...
